I'm back!?

So it has been a LONG time since I've posted and a lot has gone down since I've been here! First and foremost...I got a job! It is probably the last place I expected to be but probably the best job I could have gotten. I am a photo editor for a photography studio. It is the most PERFECT job ever! I was really into photography in high school but had to kind of drop it when I was in college/grad school bc i was super busy all the time. I never thought I'd be in the field though! It is especially nice bc the hours are flexible and the atmosphere is super relaxed. My boss is cool and I'm doing a creative job. PLUS, there is room to advance. Right now I'm editing photos...but my boss said that he will teach me how to shoot so I may actually be a legit photographer one day. This makes me VERY happy!

Let's see...what else? My cousin had a baby, and another cousin is pregnant (and due on my birthday!). My brother got engaged as did one of my college roomies (and I'm a co-maid of honor!). I'm still a loser but it's all good.

I think that might be all for now..but I hope to be blogging more often now...but I guess I say that every time I randomly return here. Maybe this time it will be for real? Oh, and I hope to be getting a new computer somewhat soon (an iMac <3!!!!) and might be moving my blog...if I do I will update all 3 people that read this!

I leave you with this: This came from fumblingthroughlife If you're reading this, you're tagged.

The Rules:
1. Link to the person that tagged you.
2. Post the rules.
3. Share seven random and/or weird facts about yourself.
4. Tag up to seven people

My facts:

1. I am completely time compulsive. I am ALWAYS early...and not just a little early. I am typically a minimum of 15 minutes early. I definitely have mini anxiety attacks at the thought of being late (which is why I'm NEVER late). The thing that is funny about this is that most of my friends are always late.

2. I am fascinated by the paranormal. I love the show "Ghosthunters" and I have a ton of books on the paranormal. Whether or not you believe it, you have to admit it is an interesting topic. Along these lines...I'm also interested in astrology and past lives/reincarnation.

3. I am a vegetarian. I have been for about 6 years. I have never liked red meat and only ate it cooked beyond recognition bc I had to when I was younger. I dropped red meat 2 yrs before I became a full vegetarian. I made the complete conversion because of my general dislike for the taste, for health reasons, and for moral reasons. I think the breaking point was when I connected the texture to what it was and just got completely grossed out by it. All this said, I'm not preachy...I don't judge anyone, you can eat whatever the fuck you want...but I expect the same in return.

4. You can always tell when I reach a breaking point of boredom by my hair. I will dye it a new color and/or get a new cut and both tend to end in disaster. I've had several disgusting cuts and made the mistake of dying my hair black. I liked the black hair but I still have black tips 3 yrs later. Not a good move.

5. I love piercings and tattoos. I have several piercings in my ears and for a brief time I had my nose pierced. It was super cute but I was allergic to the jewelery and had to take it out. That and my mom wouldn't talk to me...even though she never even saw it. Right now I'll say I have 1.5 tattoos...a hibiscus flower on the back of my ankle and cherry blossoms in wind on my back between my shoulder blades. The cherry blossoms still need color and thus the incomplete status.

6. I hate writing with anything other than black pen. I will never buy any other color. If I have to write in another color I will...but I really hate it. This made grading papers really difficult because I couldn't use black and it DROVE ME NUTS!

7. I have a strange attraction to all things plaid. I just bought two plaid dresses and a plaid shirt. I have plaid sneakers. If you are a boy and you are wearing plaid, I will probably swoon a little.
